Part one is completed!
5 months of shooting this fabulous project called The PATCH.
All filmed, for the most part, in my tomato patch in Val-David.
Something that grew from planting tomato seeds during the lockdown, into a food resource for my community and finally to inviting 11 artists to experiment, create and share narratives for a new world.
The PATCH became more of a residency than a place of production; artists brought collaborators and in the end, there were more than 50 participants being filmed. Shot with drones, infra-red, and 360° cameras by my remarkable team of 6, through a glorious variety of mediums, languages, ages, and identities. This project has been one of passion for everyone involved.
The PATCH, a 360° immersive installation, will be presented at the Musée d’art contemporain des Laurentides (MAC LAU) in February 2022.
There are 4 intense months of editing, mixing, installation and VR ahead.
